Job Description

Job Duties

• Full stack application design, development and delivery with Agile methodology
• Communicate well, participate in design discussion, and provide feedback on all aspects of the development process
• Integrate with 3rd party APIs and service providers
• Develops estimates for application feature requests
• Analysis and resolution of production issues

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor of Computer Science degree (or equivalent related qualifications such as Community College) with working experience in developing software
• Front end development (Angular)
• JavaScript libraries and framework – server side (Node.js, Express)
• NoSQL (Firebase, MongoDB) architecture, modeling, associated tools
• Must have strong experience on Unit Testing tools for AngularJS such as Karma, Jasmine
• Familiarity with R package and OpenCPU platform will be an asset
• Excellent understanding of web markup (HTML and CSS) for responsive layouts
• Ability with Agile methodology
• Organized, meticulous and attentive to detail
• Collaborate with other team members
• Passion for identifying new trends, technologies and best practices
